Maude Set

This is the pattern for both the shorts and the top, the patterns for the top and the shorts can also be purchased separately. All can be found on the pattern page.

The top is worked top-down, straps and edging are added at the end. The bust is worked in stockinette stitch, and the body is worked in a feather and fan pattern to create a wavy texture. The pattern is formed through increases and decreases. Work with one strand of merino wool and one strand of mohair held together throughout.

The shorts are worked top-down, with the legs being worked last. Short-rows using German short-rows are worked to shape the bottom and hips. The legs are knitted in the feather and fan pattern and cast-off with an elastic bind-off. Work throughout with one strand of merino wool held together with one strand of mohair.

Materials:

300g DROPS baby merino (50g=175m) and 150g DROPS kid-silk (25g=210m)

4mm (60cm) circular needle 

Size:

Top:

Small (Medium) Large

Small= waist circumference (66-73cm)

Medium= waist circumference (74-82cm)

Large = waist circumference (83-91cm)

Shorts:

Small (Medium) Large

Small= low waist circumference 70-77cm

Medium= low waist circumference 78-85cm

Large = low waist circumference 86-93cm

Gauge:

20 sts x 26 rows = 10cm X 10cm in stockinette stitch on needle 4mm before blocking.

Color:

DROPS baby merino in the color 02 off white and DROPS kid-silk in the color 01 off white is used.
