Idun Hood

The Idun Hood is knitted from the top down and then a folded edge is worked around the opening for the face. The piece is worked in stockinette stitch and ribbing. Increases are made at the back of the head and along the face opening. The hood is knitted using one strand of DROPS air and one accompanying strand of mohair throughout.

Materials:

100g DROPS Air (50g=150m) and 25g DROPS Kid-Silk (25g=210m)

6mm (40cm) circular needle

Size:

One size= Head circumference 53-60cm

Gauge:

14sts x 22rows = 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch on needle 6mm before blocking

The hood is knitted in DROPS air color 01 off white and DROPS kid-silk color 01 off white
